My Beloved's Voice was created to reveal My Beloved to all people. Who Is My Beloved? Glad you asked. Simply and without hesitation, My Beloved is Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior and the One who has captured my heart. Let Him capture your heart and your life!
Being held captive by a divine love is not as restricting as this picture looks! Nor, am I promoting Old Bedford Village where this photo was taken. It's a place where our living history brings the past into the present.
Actually, everything we encounter in our past is brought with us into our present, good and bad experiences. When we bring the bad experiences with us, we call that baggage! Our past, however, cannot form or mold our future unless we allow it.
For me, being held captive by God's love has helped me to release my past and redefine my future. You become a history maker, when this happens!
Are you a history maker or do you want to be? Then embrace God's plan for your life. His personal and unique plan, designed for YOU and ONLY you! In His design, He has promised success and direction, divine direction.
God's divine direction has taken me on roads that I would have never thought possible.
I love living life with my Beloved. He is so creative, so loving and so powerful, I couldn't have ever survived without Him. My life has never been the same since I made Him my Lord and Savior and my very best friend.
Friends come and go and people disappoint, but He remains the same always! He is constant, never changing and forever faithful, even if my direction changes. He has taught me to be like Him, in that way, since I have chosen His direction and asked Him to lead me. His Holy Spirit empowers me to be like Jesus as I yield and surrender.
Do you want this kind of divine leading? If you do, just ask Him to come into your heart. Let Him know you are sorry for your sins and tell Him you will follow where He leads. He seems to be drawn to that word, follow. "Come Follow Me," is the phrase He used as He assembled His first followers. It's really just as simple as that! He loves when we ask Him for direction!
My choice to follow has led me to this man, my beloved husband, with flesh on. Here we are under an Olive Tree at the Garden Tomb in Israel. He doesn't mind being second in command, God first, then him. Truthfully, I am devoted to my Lord and my dear hubby, and my children, who are, also, on their journey with God.
For those who struggle with serving God, families and being in ministry, here's the correct order of priority that God has established:
Learn this early and you will save yourself from a lot of heartache. After finally learning this correct order, I have had the honor and privilege of serving alongside many wonderful friends in ministry that God has brought into my life. Now, my husband is next to me in our journey with God.
If you are on your own faith journey and your spouse is not with you, they still may be one day, by your side. I was on that long awaited road years ago. I felt like I had to choose between my mate and my Maker. Through becoming like Jesus my mate was won over! I prayed and loved him and allowed my actions to speak while discovering how to NOT preach at him. Well guess what? It worked! God answered my prayer. He is big enough to answer yours! Keep asking and keep on knocking. He opens doors; for He is the open door!
Under an Olive Tree at the Garden Tomb in Israel.
How long has it been since a door of opportunity has been opened for you? Perhaps someone closed a door on your dream? What closed door are you standing in front of?
I encourage you: Keep Knocking! Eventually, it shall be opened up. Recite this promise over and over: "A great and effective door (work) has opened for me." 1 Corinthians 16: 9
Whatever your door is that needs opened, keep asking (knocking).
This scripture was written by the Apostle Paul toward the end of his ministry in Ephesus. He had been waiting for a door of work to be opened in that city, and it did. The effectual work in Ephesus was that he had wanted to expand the horizons of his readers, so that they might understand better the dimensions of God's eternal purpose that God has for His church. He wrote and ministered to them to let them know that Christian existence is not merely on an earthly plane. It receives its meaning and significance from heaven, where Jesus is exalted at the right hand of God.
Paul emphasizes the Lord gave gifts to the members of the church to enable them to minister to one another, to promote unity, purpose and maturity.
Here's how Paul urges them to live a life worthy of the calling we have received:
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." (Ephesians 4: 2)
"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of Peace." (Ephesians 4: 3)
"There is one body and one Spirit." (Ephesians 4: 4)
What's' the reason for this: "To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it." This is why it says, "When He ascended on high, He led captives in His train and gave gifts to men." (Ephesians 4: 8-10)
One day all of heaven will be brought down to earth, literally. We don't have to wait to access heaven. God has always intended "To bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ." (Ephesians 1: 10)
If that seems like not a reality to you, then we are missing Paul's point of 'being made alive in Christ.' If your Christianity is boring you, then we are not thinking like heaven thinks. "For through Him we have both access to the Father, by ONE Spirit." (Ephesians 2: 18)
Learn to access Him! In Him, we have been given power. God's intention was that "His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known." (Ephesians 3: 10)
Make Him known in our speech and our actions. His gifts release Him. It's not us it's Him!
"Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven." It's God's will for us to bring heaven to earth! His will is that earth be exposed to this Kingdom living. The earth is awaiting Heaven's release, so is He. It's done through our asking and accessing.
Be bold and confident! "It is in Christ Jesus, our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him." (Ephesians 3: 11-13)
The door is being opened so you can use your gifts to "Put into effect" all that He has taught and to raise us up to another level of thinking, "As One." When we are thinking as Him, we are coming into agreement knowing that "He has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." (Ephesians 1: 3)
YOU FAIL TO MAKE THE TURN.
